​Terms and Conditions and Waiver of Liability

​These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in any golf or travel tour (“Tour”) organised by The Snow Journey Pty Ltd (“The Snow Journey”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By registering or participating in a Tour, the participant (“you”, “your”, or “participant”) acknowledges that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. 
 
1. Booking and Payment 
1.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by The Snow Journey. A booking is only confirmed once full payment or a specified deposit has been received. 
1.2 Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars unless otherwise stated. Exchange rate fluctuations may apply for international participants. 
1.3 The Snow Journey reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Tour if minimum participant numbers are not met. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another Tour. 
 
2. Participant Responsibilities 
2.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet visa, health, and travel requirements for entry into Australia or other countries where the Tour may be held. 
2.2 Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or mobility issues that could affect their participation. 
2.3 Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow participants, guides, accommodation providers, and golf course staff. The Snow Journey reserves the right to remove any participant who engages in unsafe, disrespectful, or unlawful behaviour, without refund. 
 
3. Travel Insurance 
3.1 Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, cancellation, and personal liability is mandatory for all international participants. 
3.2 The Snow Journey shall not be responsible for any costs, losses, or damages resulting from failure to obtain appropriate insurance. 
 
4. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability 
4.1 Participation in a golf tour involves inherent risks including but not limited to slips, falls, injuries from golf activities, accidents during transport, and weather-related hazards. 
4.2 By joining the Tour, you voluntarily assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of The Snow Journey or third parties. 
4.3 You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless The Snow Journey, its directors, employees, contractors, and partners (including TeetimeGirls Singapore and associated service providers) from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from participation in the Tour, except to the extent caused by The Snow Journey’s proven gross negligence or wilful misconduct. 
 
5. Limitation of Liability 
5.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Snow Journey’s liability for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be limited to the amount paid by the participant for the Tour. 
5.2 The Snow Journey is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including loss of enjoyment, opportunity, or travel expenses due to delays, cancellations, or changes beyond its control. 
 
6. Itinerary Changes and Force Majeure 
6.1 The Snow Journey reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, or golf courses due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or operational requirements. 
6.2 The Snow Journey shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control including natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, strikes, or other force majeure events. 
 
7. Health and Safety 
7.1 Participants must comply with all local laws, health advisories, and safety protocols including golf course rules and tour guide instructions. 
7.2 The Snow Journey reserves the right to deny participation to anyone deemed unfit or unsafe to continue. 
 
8. Photography and Media Consent 
8.1 By participating, you grant The Snow Journey the right to use photographs or videos taken during the Tour for promotional or marketing purposes unless you notify us in writing prior to the Tour start date. 
 
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy 
9.1 Cancellations by participants must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to the following: 
   - More than 60 days before departure: 80% refund (less admin fees) 
   - 31–60 days before departure: 50% refund 
   - 30 days or less before departure: No refund 
9.2 No refunds will be given for unused services or early departures. 
 
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction 
10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. 
10.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia. 
 
11. Acknowledgement and Declaration 
By signing up or making payment for the Tour, you acknowledge that you have read and fully understood these Terms and voluntarily agree to be bound by them. You understand that you are waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue The Snow Journey for injuries or damages.
